Emu Lg (Tail)

Emu feathers are quite unique. They grow on the bird in pairs and while they look similar across the whole bird, they are generally finer and smaller the further forward on the animal. The natural colour is light brown at the base and gets darker to black on the tips. They can be dyed, but will retain the dark colours. These are from close to the back of the bird and are longer and more coarse than the body feathers. They are almost like grass at the tips.
